STUDENT SERVICES APPOINTMENTS MADE

Dana Burnett, vice president for student services and dean of students at Old Dominion University, recently announced four appointments to positions within the Office of Student Services.

Kaye Wallace will begin her duties as associate vice president for student services on Aug. 4. Since 1980, Wallace has served in various capacities with Wayne State University, most recently as assistant vice president for student life. She received her bachelor's in sociology from California State University, and earned her graduate degrees at Wayne State.

On June 25th, Sheryn Milton will become the director of disability services. Sheryn has served as the interim director for the past year. Prior to that she was employed as the learning coordinator in disability services. She has earned a bachelor of science degree from James Madison University and a master of science degree in education from Old Dominion.

Rebecca Fogerty starts her position on July 1 as the assistant director/S.A.F.E. coordinator in the ODU Women's Center. Fogerty completed her master's in applied sociology with a certificate in Women's Studies at Old Dominion University.

Stacy L. Davidson, PREVIEW Coordinator, comes to Old Dominion from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio, where she served as the executive director of minority student services and director of the Whirlpool Mentorship Program. She has also served as director of student leadership and director of residence life at Ohio Northern University and as coordinator of orientation at the University of Michigan.

Davidson earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Virginia and her master of arts degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University.
