----under construction-----------HACE LUNCHEON DEADLINE EXTENDED
The deadline to register for the Hourly and Classified Employees annual luncheon has been extended to Monday, May 19.
Bryan Porter, associate professor of psychology, will be the guest speaker for the 27th annual luncheon, scheduled for 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 21 in the Hampton/Newport News Room of Webb Center.
Porter, who has conducted extensive research on driver behavior, will speak on "Survive the Drive: Dodge the Recklessness Threatening You Daily." The luncheon program will include the installation of 2003-04 HACE officers and presentation of the organization's Staff Member and Rookie of the Year awards.
The cost of the luncheon is $15 for new HACE members ($10 for lunch plus $5 membership dues); $13 for current members ($8 for lunch plus $5 membership renewal); or $10 for lunch only. Checks, made out to HACE, should be sent to Judy Smith, treasurer, in 219 Koch Hall.
