PRESIDENT TO HOLD TOWN MEETING ON ENROLLMENT GROWTH MAY 2
President Roseann Runte will host a town meeting for faculty, students and staff to discuss Old Dominion University's enrollment growth proposal at noon Friday, May 2, in the River Rooms of Webb University Center.
The proposal, which Runte and other administrators presented Monday to members of the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and the General Assembly, addresses the expected influx of 32,000 public college students in Virginia by the end of the decade. Under the proposal, Old Dominion would take an additional 10,000 students over the next five years, making it Virginia's largest university.
