PRESIDENT RUNTE TO HOST ALUMNI RECEPTIONS IN NORFOLK, VA BEACH

Old Dominion University President Roseann Runte will host receptions in Norfolk and Virginia Beach this week for all Old Dominion alumni and parents of current students.

The Norfolk reception will be held at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15. Cost per person is $25 and includes a dinner buffett. A cash bar will be available. Special introductions will be made of Dr. Thomas Isenhour, the new university provost, and Dr. Chandra DeSilva, the incoming dean of the College of Arts and Letters.

The Virginia Beach reception will be held at the Beach Club at Duck-In at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16. Cost per person is $15 and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will be available. A special introduction of Isenhour also will be made at this reception.

Similar receptions also are scheduled to be held in Chesapeake on May 7, in Richmond on May 22 and in Williamsburg on May 30.
