PORTUGUESE FACULTY VISIT ODU
Two faculty members from the Technical University of Lisbon (TUL) are visiting Old Dominion University this week, giving shape to a recently-signed linkage agreement.
Joao Abrantes, professor of human kinetics and vice rector of the TUL, will be participating in an international biomechanics seminar organized by Martha Walker in the College of Health Sciences Tuesday and Wednesday, April 22-23.
Abrantes has been invited to be a distinguished visiting professor at ODU next year in the Colleges of Health Sciences and the Darden College of Education.
Sidonio Pardal, professor of urban studies, will be meeting with ODU's Urban Services faculty and making a presentation on "Portuguese Urban Landscapes" at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the Dragas International Center Conference Room.
