ISLAM IN SOUTHEAST ASIA EXPLAINED APRIL 9
An illustrated presentation by Chris Drake of the Department of Political Science and Geography on "The Impact of Islam on Southeast Asia" will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in the Burgess Room of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.
The presentation will offer a brief analysis of how Islam came to Southeast Asia and its impact on the landscape. The focus is particularly on Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country. For more information, call 683-3841.
