HEALTH INSURANCE OPEN ENROLLMENT THROUGH MAY 16
Open enrollment for health insurance for Old Dominion University faculty and staff continues through May 16 and a series of seminars have been scheduled to explain available health plans.
Effective July 1, the COVA Care statewide plan replaces the Key Advantage and Cost Alliance plans. The Department of Human Resources has distributed information to all full time employees about the new COVA Care plan. The information can also be viewed on the Commonwealth of Virginia's DHRM Web site at: http://www.dpt.state.va.us/services/health/openenrollment03/toc.htm
Employees who are currently enrolled in Key Advantage, Key Advantage Expanded, Cost Alliance, Cost Alliance with Dental who do nothing during Open Enrollment will automatically be enrolled in the basic COVA Care plan.
The Department of Human Resources will provide information on the 2003 Health
Care Open Enrollment on the following dates in Webb Center:
- Tuesday, April 22: 8:30-10 a.m., Portsmouth Room
- Wednesday, April 23: 8:30-10 a.m., Cape Charles Room; 1-2:30 p.m., Chesapeake Room
- Monday, May 5: 9:30-11 a.m., Virginia Beach Room.
You must register to attend one of these sessions. Classified employees must have a supervisor's approval to attend one of these health care informational sessions.
