CAMPUS COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN EXCEEDS GOAL

Members of the Old Dominion University community supported the university to the tune of $155,000, organizers of this year's Campus Community Campaign said.

The fund exceeded its $125,000 goal by 24 percent, raising more than $155,000. Thirty-seven percent of campus employees (695) participated, compared to 34 percent last year.

The highest participation rate was in the President's Office, where 76 percent of employees gave to the campaign. The most improved participation rate was the Office of Administration and Finance, which went from 34 percent to 47 percent.

An ice cream social was held Tuesday to recognize those who supported the campaign this year.
