WOMEN'S SAILING TEAM RANKED FIRST

The Old Dominion women's sailing team continues to be ranked first in the nation according to "Sailing World" magazine's coaches' panel.

The coed team made a jump to 13th from their previous ranking of 16 in the most recent poll. The Lady Monarchs won the Navy Spring Intersectional back on March 9 and finished eighth at the St. Mary's Women Intersectional this past weekend. The coed team recorded a second place finish at the Old Dominion Open earlier this month to qualify for the America's Trophy, which be held April 26 and 27 in Bronx, N.Y.
