TELEFLEX PRESIDENT EXEC. IN RESIDENCE APRIL 3

Jeffrey P. Black, president and CEO of Teleflex Inc., will speak at Old Dominion University from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in 1005 Constant Hall as part of the Executive-in-Residence series.

The series, sponsored by the College of Business and Public Administration, brings accomplished business leaders to campus to share firsthand experiences with students. The talk is free and open to the public; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

A 1983 graduate of Old Dominion, Black has held several managerial positions at Teleflex during his 18-year tenure there. Prior to being elected to the board and becoming president of Teleflex, he led both the Automotive and Industrial groups to greater sales and profits and integrated several acquisitions both in North America and Europe.

Teleflex is a diversified industrial company with annual revenues of approximately $2 billion that employs more than 17,000 people. The company designs, manufactures and distributes quality-engineered products and services for the aerospace, medical, automotive, marine and industrial markets worldwide.
