SEXUAL MORALITY TOPIC OF LECTURE APRIL 4 IN WEBB CENTER

Old Dominion University's Institute of Applied Ethics will host a lecture titled "Sexual Morality" at 3 p.m. Friday, April 4, in the Virginia Beach Room of Webb University Center.

Alan H. Goldman, Kenan Professor of Philosophy at the College of William and Mary, will present the lecture.

Goldman taught philosophy at the University of Miami for 25 years, including 10 years as chair of that department. He is the author of several books, including his most recent publication, Practical Rules: When We Need Them and When We Don't (Cambridge, 2002).

He is also the author of numerous articles on issues in ethics, aesthetics, epistemology, and philosophy of law, including two forthcoming articles on aesthetic evaluation and aesthetic principles.
