ASIAN EVENTS MARCH 24-APRIL 2

A selection of Asian cultural events will be presented at Old Dominion University beginning Monday, March 24.

Monday, March 24
"Redefinition of Identity: Asian Women in the Arts," presentation by activist/musician/artist/lecturer Magdalen Hsu Li, 6-8 p.m. North Cafeteria, Webb University Center.

Saturday, March 29
"Filipino-American: The Art of a Culture," a celebration of the Filipino-American experience through music, song, dance, authentic cuisine, and cultural appreciation, 7-10 p.m. North and South cafeterias, Webb University Center. Cost: $3 in advance, $5 at the door.

Monday, March 31
"Fa-Lun Gong: Mind and body health improvement system," 5-7 p.m. Potomac/York River Rooms, Webb University Center.

Wednesday, April 2
"Writing Through Culture: A Creative Writing Workshop" with Luisa Igloria, English Department, Old Dominion, 5-6 p.m., Potomac/York River Rooms. Please call 683-4406 to register.
