OLD DOMINION SYMPOSIUM TO EXPLORE NURSING EXCELLENCE APRIL 7
Nursing excellence will be the topic for the first Spring Symposium of the Old Dominion University chapter of the International Nursing Honor Society Monday, April 7, at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside.
Mona Newsome Wicks, director of the University of Tennessee Memphis nursing program, will discuss "Seeking Professional Nursing Excellence Through Cultural Competence" at the dinner program.
Co-sponsored by ODU's Epsilon Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and TAP Pharmaceuticals, the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception, followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. and the lecture at 7 p.m. The cost is $10 for students,
$15 for members and $25 for non-members.
