BUSINESS FACULTY MEMBER QUOTED IN THE WASHINGTON POST
Joan Mann, a faculty member in the College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion University, was quoted in Thursday's edition of The Washington Post in a column by Marc Fisher about the rapid pace of technology growth.
In a study of 8,000 tech projects in businesses, Mann said only 16 percent of the new systems were deemed successes. The blame, she said, stems in part from a lack of effective communication between the tech-savvy and the rest.
