WORLD AFFAIRS COUNCIL KICKS OFF SPRING SCHEDULE JAN. 18
The World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads' Great Decisions Series begins presentations on current global issues at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Virginia Wesleyan College's Boyd Center.
This year, the series of eight Saturday morning presentations features three Old Dominion University faculty members. They are:
Jan. 18, Steve Yetiv, political science, "Multilateralism or Unilateralism: Is the U.S. Alone or Together in the World?"
Feb. 15, Jie Chen, political science, "China in Transition: Is Real Change Imminent?"
Feb. 22, Regina Karp, Graduate Programs in International Studies, "Europe: The State of the Union."
Other topics include Afghanistan, U.S.-Saudi Relations, World Food Trade, International Women's Rights and Nigeria.
