MAGAZINE DONATIONS ACCEPTED IN PRESIDENT'S OFFICE
The president's office is still collecting children's magazines from members of the campus community, a project started a year ago to benefit children at a local school.
The magazines are passed on to Sherrill Hurwitz, guidance counselor at Tanners Creek Elementary School in Norfolk, who in turn hands them out to students who are not able to get this type of reading material at home.
According to Hurwitz, the magazines are a big hit with the children and their parents, and more and more children are asking for them. Magazines may be sent via campus mail to the president's office or dropped off at Koch Hall.
