WOMEN'S SHELTER DONATIONS BEING ACCEPTED AT CHILD STUDY CENTER

Donations for a local battered women's shelter will be collected at the Old Dominion University Child Study Center from Monday, Dec. 2, to Wednesday, Dec. 18.

New or gently used items including clothes for women or children, blankets, bath products, alarm clocks, kitchen supplies, puzzles, games, stuffed animals and toys are needed.

Children from the child study center will wrap each gift. Leave items in the box located in the entrance of the child study center at 44th Street and Hampton Boulevard.
