STUDENT EXHIBITION OPENS DEC. 7 AT UNIVERSITY GALLERY
The University Gallery will open a new exhibition, "Exhibitionists 2002 -- A Student Show," with a reception from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. Both the reception and exhibition, which continues through Dec. 22, are free and open to the public.
"Exhibitionists" includes artwork by the 2002-03 art department scholarship winners. Work in various media will be presented by undergraduates, including jewelry by Lisa Catron, pottery by Laurie Valentine-Dabbs, paintings by Christine Hield, drawings by Heather Bryant, woodcuts and screen prints by Erin Cross, and installations and assemblage work by
graduate student Scott Williams.
The University Gallery is open noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; noon to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. It is located at 350 W. 21st St., Norfolk.
