PUPPET WORKSHOP IS THIS WEEKEND AT STABLES THEATRE

The Old Dominion University Theatre and the Puppet Arts Center of the Virginia Puppetry Guild will present a puppetry workshop, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Old Dominion Stables Theatre, 46th Street east of Hampton Boulevard.

The workshop will cover performance skills, the history of puppetry, demonstrations of large and complex puppets, construction of simple puppets and manipulation techniques.

The workshop is free to Old Dominion faculty and students; $15 for other educators; $25 for the general public. For more information, call 683-3608.
