The Old Dominion University Department of Physics Colloquium Series presents R. Jeffrey Balla of NASA Langley Research Center, who will discuss "Laser-Induced Thermal Acoustics: Theory and Fluid Dynamics" at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, in room 200 of the Oceanography and Physics Building.
