COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE SATURDAY AT CONSTANT CENTER

The Hampton Roads community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of Old Dominion University's Ted Constant Convocation Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at a Community Open House Party.

Hosted by Old Dominion and Global Spectrum, the event will offer complimentary food and beverages, and a multitude of entertainment, including face painting, clowns, mascots, games, prizes, live music and other special performances. It is free and open to the public.

Guests attending the Open House Party will also have the opportunity to meet a beloved Sesame Street character, who is in town for the Sesame Street Live shows at the Constant Center Nov. 7-10. Additionally, Old Dominion University men's and women's basketball stars will also be on hand to sign autographs and welcome fans to their new home.

Monarch fans are invited to attend the Lady Monarch's team practice from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the arena court. Following practice, guests of the open house party will be invited to help jump start Monarch Madness by attending the Old Dominion University men's Blue/White scrimmage game at 3:30 p.m., free of charge.
