CHINESE PAINTING IS TOPIC OF LECTURE WEDNESDAY AT OLD DOMINION
Kublai Dai Yu, professor of art from the Chinese National Academy of Art, will give a lecture on "Traditional Chinese Painting and Calligraphy of the Tang (A.D. 618-907) and Song (A.D. 960-1279) Dynasties" at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Burgess Room of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.
Presented by Old Dominion University's Institute of Asian Studies, the lecture includes a slide show of some of the best-known pieces of the Tang and Song dynasties.
