5K RUN AND WALK SPONSORED BY ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT SEPT. 14

The Old Dominion University Department of Accounting will sponsor a 5K run/walk beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at 48th Street and Powhatan Avenue.

Awards will be given in various categories, including the first male and female finishers, the first three finishers in each age group and the first finisher in each team category.

Entrants receive a commemorative blue long- or short-sleeve T-shirt. The entry fee is $12 for students; $13 regular; and $15 for teams if registering by Sept. 7. Registrations from Sept. 8 up to race day cost $15. Participants should add $5 to their entry fee for long-sleeved T-shirts.
