FORUM ON RACE AND CLASS IN THE NEWS IS TODAY

"Fair Play: A Community Conversation on Race, Class and Ethnicity in the News" will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in Webb University Center at Old Dominion University.

Journalists and community members will explore questions such as the meanings of class and race; how perceptions of class and race shape local news; and how citizens can help the media improve coverage. The forum is sponsored in part by the office of Old Dominion President Roseann Runte.
