NOVEMBER BOND ISSUE, IMPROVING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE ARE THEMES FOR HACE GENERAL MEETING

Vice President for Institutional Advancement John R. Broderick will explain the November bond referendum and its potential impact on Old Dominion at the Hourly and Classified Employees Association General Meeting 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in room 104 of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.

In addition, Mary Kornwolf of the Virginia Governmental Employees' Association will share tips for communicating effectively with your legislators.

Walease Reid of human resources also will make a short presentation, "Nobody's Fault But Mine: Self-help for Improved Performance."

Light refreshments will be served, and all hourly and classified employees are encouraged to attend. Supervisor approval is required for release time.
