LIBRARY ORIENTATION SESSIONS PLANNED FOR AUG. 21
Two information sessions will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21, to orient faculty, staff and graduate students to the services and facilities at Perry Library.
At 10:30 a.m. Ann Pettingill, head of reference and research services, will lead a 30-minute tour to highlight facilities available for faculty use and research.
At 11 a.m. ibrarian Karen Vaughan, coordinator of the Digital Services Center, will demonstrate how faculty can incorporate digital projects in their classes. During the 30-minute session, participants will ses some projects that have been created as well as those currently in the works. The center is located on the library's third floor.
Both sessions are designed as an introduction for new faculty, staff and graduate students, as well as a refresher for those who are returning. Participants are welcome to attend one or both of the sessions.
