INTERNATIONAL STUDENT DONATIONS EXTENDED

Prompted by the success of last week's call for household items and furniture for use by international students attending Old Dominion University this fall, officials have extended the donation period.

Donations will also be accepted from 3-5 p.m.Thursday and Friday, Aug. 15 and 16, between Gates 4 and 6 north on Bluestone Avenue on the west side of Foreman Field.

This service has long been requested by the international community and has often been suggested by many Old Dominion faculty and staff. The university's athletics department is joining international programs to conduct the drive.

Donated of household appliances, cookware, dishes, flatware, televisions, furniture, mattresses, pillows, bicycles and baby supplies are welcome. A letter recognizing your donation for tax purposes will be provided.
