KOREAN WAR SYMPOSIUM CONTINUES TODAY
Veterans and military historians from around the world will gather for an international symposium honoring the 50th anniversary of the Korean War June 27 at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
Sponsored by Old Dominion, the General Douglas MacArthur Foundation and the City of Norfolk, "Understanding & Remembering: 50th Anniversary of the Korean War" will examine political and military dimensions of the war and its impact on the people of Korea and the thousands of armed services personnel from the 21 nations involved.

Thursday, June 27
9 a.m. Conduct of the War: Air Operations
11 a.m. The Truman/MacArthur Controversy
12:30 p.m. Lunch
1:30 p.m. Legacies of the Korean War
3:30 p.m. Veterans Remember
All events are in the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building. The symposium costs $25 and includes continental breakfast and lunch. Walk-in registration is accepted..
