The group also presented scholarships to Hugo Morrison, a junior communication major who holds a 2.90 grade point average, and Crystal Walden, a freshman electrical engineering major who holds a 3.95 grade point average.

In addition, CBFA honored one of its members, Sydney Perry, who retired from his position as an academic advisor in the counseling and advising services office. Perry worked at Old Dominion since 1983.
