The online version of the Mace & Crown was recognized recently by Student Leader magazine as the second best student newspaper Web site in the country.
MaceandCrown.com competed against more than 150 student newspaper Web sites in the national competition.
Webmaster Tom Feist, of Woodbridge, Va., who received his bachelor's degree May 11 in management of information systems, started the online paper in August 2001.
