BASKETBALL TICKETS ON SALE FOR FIRST SEASON AT CONSTANT CONVOCATION CENTER

Virginia and North Carolina will be Old Dominion's first women's and men's basketball opponents, respectively, in the inaugural season at the Constant Convocation Center.

The Lady Monarchs will meet the UVa Lady Cavaliers Friday, Nov. 22, while the Monarchs and UNC Tar Heels will square off Sunday, Nov. 24, in an afternoon tilt. The games will highlight a series of grand opening events that week as the university officially unveils its new 8,600-seat arena.

Season tickets for the men's and women's 2002-03 campaigns may be purchased by calling 683-4444. A variety of ticket plans are available, including discounts for faculty and staff.

The center will feature plush, upholstered chair-back seats that offer fans close proximity to the court.
