Dmitry Budker of the University of California, Berkeley physics department will give a talk titled "Putting a Spin on Atoms and Light: Trying to Build a Sensitive Compass, Test Fundamental Symmetries and Avoid 'Surprises' That Should Not Be" at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in room 102 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.
The free lecture, for the College of Sciences' Distinguished Visitors Lecture Series on "Emerging Scientists," is intended for a general audience.
