HAILSTORK'S MUSIC FEATURED IN MAY 1 CONCERT

The music of internationally renowned composer Adolphus Hailstork, professor of music at Old Dominion University, will be presented in a 7:30 p.m. concert Wednesday, May 1 as part of the Virginia Arts Festival.

The free concert will be held in the Chandler Recital Hall of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center.

The concert is part of the opening reception for an exhibit on Hailstork and his work that will be displayed in the in the center's Diehn Composers Room through June 2. The exhibit opens at 6:30 p.m. so concertgoers can browse before the performance begins.
