OLD DOMINION RESEARCH CITED IN WASHINGTON POST EDITORIAL
Economic research by Old Dominion University faculty was cited in an opinion article in Sunday's Washington Post. In "Virginia Left Flat: Of bogus budgets and the car-tax repeal," the author uses an Old Dominion study on the economic downturn and Hampton Roads' growth to make his argument.
The article, by Gordon C. Morse, a former speechwriter for Virginia Democratic Gov. Gerald Baliles, can be viewed at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A26507-2002Mar1.html.
