LADY MONARCHS PLAY SATURDAY IN NCAA SWEET 16

The seventh-seeded Old Dominion University Lady Monarchs basketball team will play third-seeded Kansas State at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Milwaukee, Wis., for the NCAA Sweet 16. The game will be aired live on ESPN2.

The Lady Monarchs advanced to the Mideast Regional Semifinal with an overtime victory Monday over second-seeded Purdue.

The winner will advance to the regional final against either top-seeded University of Connecticut or fourth-seeded Penn State. The winner of that game will head to the Final Four of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
