COLLEGE OF SCIENCES LECTURES CONTINUE MARCH 7-8

The College of Sciences' Distinguished Visiting Lecture Series continues with Gregor Kovacic, associate professor of math at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute, who will discuss his research on nonlinear evolution equations and their applications to scientific problems March 7-8.

Kovacic will discuss "Truncated Burgers-Hopf Equation: A Testbed for Statistical Mechanics" at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in room 102 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.
Kovacic will discuss "The Rise and Fall of Chaotic Dynamics" at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, in room 239 of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.
