PARTICPANTS SOUGHT FOR BONE MARROW DRIVE FEB. 19 IN WEBB CENTER

The Association of University Administrators will sponsor the 6th Annual Bone Marrow Drive at Old Dominion Tuesday, Feb. 19. It will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the North Mall of Webb Center.

Funding is available for the first 30 people. Anyone who qualifies under the Minority Grant will be typed free.

Participants must sign a consent form and have two test tubes of blood drawn. The blood will be sent to the National Bone Marrow Donor labs to be typed and placed on the registry. Participants will be on the registry until age 61. For more information check www.nmdp.org.

Those having their blood typed may also give blood to the American Red Cross.
