OLD DOMINION TO HOST FORUM FOR SMALL BUSINESSES MARCH 16
A "Public Forum on Closely Held Business" will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 16, in Old Dominion University's Constant Hall.
Sponsored by SunTrust Bank, the Financial Planning Association of Hampton Roads and the Insurance and Financial Services Center of the College of Business and Public Administration at Old Dominion, the event focuses on improving small businesses. Participants may choose from as many as 12 workshops on discovering strategies and new opportunities for small businesses. Workshops include retirement planning, buy/sell agreements and new tax regulations.
Keynote speakers are Rand M. Curtiss, president of American Business Appraisers-Cleveland, and Jack L. Ezzell Jr., president and CEO of Zel Technologies LLC, one of the nation's fastest growing technology firms.
The price for the forum is $35 if paid by March 4; $50 thereafter.
