VIEW VIDEO OF TELETECHNET COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY LIVE ON WEB TODAY
Old Dominion University's 15th commencement ceremony for students at sites on its TELETECHNET distance learning network will be broadcast from 3:45-5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17.
More than 250 graduates from 25 different academic programs at 29 TELETECHNET sites will be honored. The ceremony will also bring the total of TELETECHNET alumni to more than 1,950. The three largest programs with graduates at Monday's ceremony are the bachelor of science in Human Services Counseling (61), the bachelor of science in nursing (35) and the master's of science in special education (33).
Sites with the most graduates being recognized are the following community colleges: John Tyler Community College (21); Wytheville (17); and Southside Virginia (19). Sites in North Carolina at Johnston and Wake Technical opened in Fall 1999 have their first graduating classes.
