EDGERTON FEATURED IN CHRONICLE OF HIGHER ED

Gary Edgerton, chairman of the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts at Old Dominion University, is featured in the latest issue of the Chronicle of Higher Education.

In a "Verbatim" article, "Examining the Phenomenon That Is Ken Burns," reporter Scott McLemee discusses Edgerton's latest book, "Ken Burns's America." Edgerton addresses such things as historians' jealousy toward the filmmaker and how Burns became so popular.
