SUSSMAN IS GUEST ON 'WITH GOOD REASON' MONDAY
Glen Sussman, associate professor and chair of the Department of Political Science and Geography at Old Dominion University, will discuss how the Bush administration has dealt with anthrax or the Sept. 11 terrorist bombings on the radio program "With Good Reason" at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, on WHRV-FM (89.5).
Most modern presidents have dealt with at least one great crisis during their term in office, the episode -- titled "The Power of Speech" -- points out. And the ways they've handled such tense moments, including their resulting public remarks, have often defined their administrations.
The weekly show is hosted by Sarah McConnell and can be heard locally Mondays at 1:30 p.m. "With Good Reason" highlights the expertise of Virginia's college and university faculty.
