CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARDS GIVEN TO FINANCIAL AID COUNSELOR, MBA PROGRAM
Linda Barnes of the Office of Financial Aid and the MBA Program of the College of Business and Public Administration received the employee and departmental Customer Service Awards Tuesday.
Barnes has been a university employee since 1975 and a financial aid counselor since 1983. A parent of one of Barnes' clients wrote, "I surely pray that I will get to meet your personally one day before they graduate because you are definitely a very responsive and customer-service-oriented individual."
"Cooperation with customers" within the MBA program "is probably one of the stronger points of the department," a student wrote. "Dr. (Bruce) Rubin, Jean (Turpin), Sandi (Phillips) and Lisa (Barry) have helped me extensively with issues that I had."
