CAMPUS HOSTS BLOOD DRIVES WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY

The American Red Cross will be on the Old Dominion campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 and Thursday, Nov. 15 for two blood drives. Both will be in the North Mall of Webb University Center.

Although the need for blood donations received a great deal of attention following the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, the need remains high today. According to Teresina Nowak of the local chapter of the Red Cross, the Hampton Roads blood supply is lower than normal due to military deployments.

To give blood, simply show up in Webb Center and make an appointment or give on the spot.
