PROPSALS DUE SOON FOR UNDERGRAD RESEACH FUNDS
Lou Henry, dean of the Honors College, has issued a call for proposals for the undergraduate research program for spring 2002 semester.
Full-time sophomores, juniors and seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.4 are encouraged to submit a proposal by Nov. 16. The award stipend will be $1,000 for one semester and may be renewed (up to $500, if justified by a budget proposal).
"Ideally, the project should be initiated by the student but faculty members may approach students about collaborative projects," Henry said.
A project should require about 150 hours of a student's time and be completed by the end of the spring semester.
