SCHOLARSHIP ESTABLISHED IN MEMORY OF VICTIMS

President Roseann Runte announced yesterday the creation of a memorial scholarship to honor the students, families and friends of Old Dominion University who lost their lives in the terrorist actions of Sept. 11.

"The memorial scholarship will inspire the courage and strength needed to triumph over the horrific events that befell our nation, and will help us aspire to and attain the highest goals of peace and transformation," Runte said.
