ORGANIZING MEETING FOR 'DISABLED AND FIT' PROGRAM IS OCT. 2

An organizational lunch meeting for Old Dominion University's Disabled and Fit Program will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the Blue Room of the Health and Physical Education Building.

Organized by Old Dominion's Recreational Sports Department, the program was developed to give university students, faculty and staff with permanent physical disabilities the opportunity to participate in fitness, sports and recreation activities.

Participants are evaluated through the Physical Therapy Department and individual fitness programs are designed for them. Each participant will have a fitness instructor available to assist exercise sessions.
