OFFICES ENCOURAGED TO TAKE PART IN DECORATING CONTEST AND HOMECOMING PARADE

The University Homecoming Committee is encouraging departments and offices to take part in a decorating
contest during Homecoming Week, Oct. 9-13. The theme for the contest is "Portal to New Worlds," the same as
has been adopted for Inauguration Week.

Decorated offices will be judged Oct. 9. Winners will receive a $50 gift certificate to Dining Services.

Offices and departments also are invited to enter a float or sponsor a student organization in the Homecoming
parade, scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.
