JOHNSON NAMED REGIONAL V.P. OF PHI KAPPA PHI

Ronald E. Johnson, professor of oceanography at Old Dominion University, was named a regional vice president of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all fields of higher education. With more than 1 million members and 282 chapters nationwide and in Puerto Rico and the Philippines, Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest, largest and most selective all-discipline honor society.
