RECTOR WALTER KELLEY JOINS NEW LAW FIRM AS PARTNER
Board of Visitors Rector Walter D. Kelley Jr. has recently joined Troutman Sanders Mays & Valentine LLP as a partner with the law firm's complex litigation practice group.
He will practice in the firm's Norfolk office, where he will concentrate on business litigation, intellectual property litigation and corporate control disputes.
Kelley, who previously served as a partner with the Hampton Roads firm of Willcox & Savage, P.C., recently was recognized by Virginia Business magazine as one of the state's preeminent litigation attorneys.
In addition to representing private clients, he serves as commissioner in chancery for the Norfolk Circuit Court, overseeing business disputes referred by the court.
