The journal, sponsored by the center, is a collaborative effort of Old Dominion students and community members. Contributors will read from their essays and poems and art works will be on display at the center.

The event is free and open to the public and will include a farewell reception for Dean Karen Gould of the College of Arts and Letters, who is leaving the university to become dean of the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati.
